2025 Location Change, Same Awesome Footsteps Camps 

After nearly 40 years at Wilderness Camping and Retreat Center and countless hours of prayerful discernment, the Footsteps Camps Board made the difficult decision to have camps at a new facility beginning in 2025. We look back on those nearly four decades of hospitality, love, support and generosity from Wilderness with gratitude. We continually strive to remain good stewards of what God has given us to fulfill our mission “to provide, through camping ministry, an environment where all are welcome to grow in their relationship with God, others, and His creation”. Our goal is to use those blessings to reach as many as possible through a meaningful, affordable camping experience. As Footsteps Camps begin this new journey in our ministry, we extend a heartfelt “Thank You” to Wilderness Camping and Retreat Association for all they do. We pray that both organizations will be blessed in this new chapter and continue to change lives through camping.

Footsteps Camps Board was led to this decision in order to continue to share the Gospel through an affordable camping experience. We are committed to a decrease in fees while providing the same awesome Footsteps program. All camps will be under the same dedicated leadership and will include fun Footsteps traditions: puppets, Fizzy Tag, swimming, Bible Bowl, etc. in the great outdoors. We can’t wait to share them and more with you.
